Events in December
8th December: Switching on the Christmas lights. This is one of the most magical moments of Christmas, when the Christmas lights get turned on. An event in Sotogrande, not to be missed and loved by all, you and old. This is the start to Christmas and sure to get anyone into the festive spirits with the big switch on at 7pm and the collaboration of la Marina restaurants and Jugarnia, followed by carols and the opening of the Santa’s Grotto.
12nd December: Christmas Show-cooking, at L’Olive Restaurant, Sotogrande – Get ready for the big day with a cooking class with our fantastic Chef Cristina Gutierrez, where she will teach you how to create culinary masterpieces this Christmas.
15th December:Â Christmas Market at Ribera del Marlin from 12:00 to 16:00, organised by Sotogrande International School.
22nd December: This is an open tournament following the Stableford/Scratch format, taking place on the final Saturday before Christmas at La Reserva Golf Club.
Christmas Events
25th December: Celebrate the big day at La Reserva Club’s L’Olive Restaurant, with their famous Christmas Brunch starting from 11am. It’s the perfect way to enjoy your Christmas to the full, without worrying about cooking, or cleaning up!
New Year’s Eve Events
31st December: Enjoy a sumptuous four course meal at the Polo One Restaurant in Sotogrande Port, with champagne and grapes at midnight for only 55 Euros per person.
31st December: New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner at the Almenara Hotel in Sotogrande. Price: 185 Euros per person. The dinner is followed by a party with live music and open bar.
