Planning your stay

Will you need a car?

Think about your whole itinerary. A marina or village hotel may work well for nearby meals and walks, while golf rounds, beach visits and evenings in other areas can still need transport. Check the actual walking route and ask the hotel about parking or transfers.

Travelling with children?

Compare the room layout, permitted occupancy, pool access and activities for each child’s age. A resort’s family programme may vary by season. Alcaidesa Boutique Hotel currently has a minimum guest age of 16.

Booking a golf or spa break?

A hotel near a course does not automatically include green fees or tee times. Likewise, a spa may have separate charges, treatment bookings and age restrictions. Check the full package before comparing prices.

Visiting outside summer?

Check outdoor pools, beach-club access and seasonal restaurants for your dates. INMOOD publishes seasonal pool dates, and Sotel is listed with seasonal opening. Contact the property directly if a particular facility is essential to your stay.

Questions about hotels in Sotogrande

Which hotel is in Sotogrande Marina?

MiM Sotogrande Meliá Collection is in the marina itself. Las Camelias is near the port entrance in Torreguadiaro. Use the map links to compare the setting with where you want to eat and spend time.

Is San Roque Suites now INMOOD?

Yes. Look for INMOOD San Roque and use its current operator website and contact details. Old San Roque Suites listings and reviews may describe the property before its refurbishment.

What happened to Aldiana Alcaidesa?

The former Aldiana property has become OKU Andalusia. It is a different hotel offering, so use OKU’s current room descriptions, facilities and booking conditions.

Are the hostales shared-room hostels?

The local hostales in this guide are guesthouse-style options. Check the specific room, bed arrangement and bathroom facilities when booking; the word “hostal” alone does not tell you what your reservation includes.

Can wedding guests book Finca Monasterio directly?

The venue’s wedding FAQ says rooms are allocated by the couple and guests should speak to them about accommodation. Confirm the arrangements for the event you are attending before making a separate reservation.
