Sotogrande Beaches

In and around Sotogrande you will find some wonderful beaches, including The Beach in the La Reserva Club, a man-made beach and lagoon set in the exclusive gated community of La Reserva. Some wide and long and others smaller and cozier. Whether you are looking for a place to relax or take a long walk and enjoy spectacular views to Gibraltar and Mediterranean Sea, there is a beach for you. The beaches closest to Sotogrande include:

Sotogrande Port Beach

The Sotogrande Port beach is located next to the Octógono beach club at the Paseo del Mar. There are a number of restaurants and bars nearby, including the popular Gigi’s Beach bar and restaurant as well as the typical Spanish beach shack Chiringuito Altamar.

Torreguadiaro Beach

Torreguadiaro Beach

The Torreguadiaro beach (also known as Playa de las Conchas) is one of the busiest beaches in Sotogrande. The beach has fine sand and some small stones. The beach is located at the entrance to Sotogrande Port and extending towards Torreguadiaro, where you can find the Chambao beach bar as well as the Bahia Limon chiringuito.

Alcaidesa Beach

The Alcaidesa beaches of Torrecarbonera and Hacienda offer some of the most natural and rustic environments in and around Sotogrande. The beach at Alcaidesa holds the blue flag for its clean waters. There is also a part of the beach that is an official nudist beach.

Cala Sardina Beach

The Cala Sardina beach (also known as Playa El Cabrero or Cala Taraje) is a virgin beach with dark fine sand. The beach is quite secluded and busy all year round.

Sotogrande Beach

The beach known as Sotogrande beach or Guadaquitón and Borondo is located at the Paseo del Parque next to the tennis club. The beach starts at the river Guadiaro and goes all the way to the Faro de Carbonera lighthouse. This is the perfect beach for a long walk. Here you can find the popular beach bars Trocadero and Bunker Beach.
