Sotogrande Neighbourhoods

The resort of Sotogrande is made up of four main districts:

La Reserva de Sotogrande

La Reserva is towards the top right of Sotogrande. The area is surrounded by nature and developed with wide roads. In La Reserva you will find the Sotogrande International School, La Reserva Golf Course and the Sotogrande Hipica equestrian centre. Popular property developments include Los Cortijos De La Reserva.

Sotogrande Costa

Sotogrande Costa, or Sotogrande Bajo is the area of Sotogrande that borders the coastline and includes the Kings & Queens area with its main avenue ‘Paseo del Parque’, A Zone and B Zone. Popular property developments include Los Granados del Mar, Casar Fronda and Royal Golf.

Sotogrande Marina

In Sotogrande Marina and Sotogrande Port you will find a variety of shops, bars and restaurants as well as the Nautic Club and the beach bar El Octogono. The Port of Sotogrande is the central hub, especially during the summer months. Built in the early 90s, the Marina and Port are home to 548 Moorings. Popular property developments include Paseo del Mar, Paseo del Rio, Ribera del Obispo, Jungla de Loro, Isla Carey, Ribera del Emperador, Isla Pez Volador and Ribera del Marlin.

Sotogrande Alto

Sotogrande Alto is towards the top left of Sotogrande and includes the C Zone, D Zone, E Zone, F Zone and G Zone. In Sotogrande Alto you will find the Almenara Golf Course, Almenara Hotel, Valderrama Golf Club. Popular property developments include Carmenes de Almenara, Los Gazules and Sotogolf.

Guadiaro

Guadiaro is a small village located just above Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro. In Guadiaro you have a Caixa bank, Tobacconist, several bars and restaurants, a Church and a school.

Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro

Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro is the main hub for residents all year around. There are countless options for shopping, doing business, eating out or enjoying a coffee or drink.

Torreguadiaro

Torreguadiaro is located just East from Sotogrande Port’s entrance. This is a popular town for eating out with some of the best restaurants in the area and the busiest beach in summer.

La Alcaidesa

La Alcaidesa is just a five-minute drive from Sotogrande. Here you have two Golf courses, a large resort and beautiful beaches with a trendy beach bar. La Alcaidesa is rather quiet off season, but gets very busy during the summer months.
