Sotogrande International School (SIS) is a private international boarding and day school based in Sotogrande, southern Spain. The school follows the IB programme from 3-18 years and is home to a passionate learning community who inspire and encourage learning and intercultural understanding, promoting education as a force for good in the world.
Academic results are consistently excellent, with both MYP and Diploma students achieving well above world average scores year after year. As a result of the impressive average point score of 34.2 in 2019, 90% of students went on to be placed at their first choice of university.
Sotogrande International currently has an active student population of over 1,000 children that hail from over 50 different nationalities. Throughout the IB programmes, internationally qualified teachers provide a challenging, nurturing and academically rigorous education. Sotogrande International Boarding House is a warm vibrant community, where the staff are dedicated to caring for, and getting the best out of each individual. The academic support received by students is reflected in IB Diploma exam results where, over the past two years, the top-performing students have both been boarders, one achieving the maximum IB score of 45 points.
