A second Piano at Sunset is confirmed

Following September’s successful pilot, Puerto Sotogrande has confirmed another Piano at Sunset with Francisco Álvarez performing aboard and beside the control tower. The combined boat-and-concert ticket is €110, while concert-only admission costs €30; proceeds support Fundación Navega.
Marina joins automatic spill-detection training

Puerto Sotogrande will join a Marinas de Andalucía webinar on technology for automatically detecting, recording and managing pollution incidents in marina waters. This is staff training and knowledge-sharing, not an announcement that a new monitoring system has already been installed locally.
SO/ launches an autumn tasting menu
From Friday 9 October · through late January
Cortijo Santa María 1962 at SO/ Sotogrande launches “Flavours of the Forest and Land” tomorrow, centred on wild mushrooms, truffle, game and Andalusian cheeses. Three menus are announced at €75 for three courses, €95 for five and €115 for seven.
Two locally linked golfers enter the Spanish Open
8–11 October · Club de Campo Villa de Madrid
Ángel Ayora, developed around Guadiaro, Sotogrande, La Hacienda Links and La Cañada, starts his second Spanish Open as a professional. Spanish amateur champion Gonzalo Baños, also linked to La Cañada, makes his debut in the 132-player field.
La Cañada juniors collect Andalucía honours

Marta Gil won both the girls’ benjamín scratch category and a share of the handicap lead at the Andalucía Benjamín and Alevín Grand Prix hosted by La Cañada. Clubmates Malena Viera and Juan Olid del Río also won their respective alevín handicap divisions.
