M-240: local services towards La Línea
The Consorcio lists this line as M-240 Estepona–La Línea (Ruta). Its published local timetable below shows selected stops between Torreguadiaro and La Línea. These are scheduled times, not live arrivals, and are not a complete list of stops along the route.
Checked 13 October 2026. The official table displays a validity range of 1 June 2021 to 31 December 2027 and marks these journeys L-D: daily, including public holidays. Check the official date-specific timetable and notices before travel.

The San Roque timepoints differ by direction. Do not substitute Alameda for Cuatro Vientos or use a timepoint as the departure time from another stop.

Sotogrande and the surrounding villages
Use the Consorcio journey information to identify the exact stop and route. Check the walking approach: a stop with Sotogrande in its name is not necessarily beside the marina or your hotel.
San Roque municipal buses
Municipal services and seasonal extras have separate timetables. A current municipal timetable has not been verified for this page, so no urban departure times or fares are reproduced here.

Gibraltar via La Línea
The timetable above ends at La Línea bus station. It is not a bus into Gibraltar. Plan the onward journey and border crossing separately, with enough time for your circumstances.
Málaga Airport
Avanza publishes airport services to Estepona. Search for your date and compare a connection from there with other options. This does not establish a direct airport service to your Sotogrande address or a guaranteed through connection.

- Check the day. Read weekday, weekend and holiday notes.
- Check the direction. The return stop may be across a road or elsewhere nearby.
- Confirm the precise stop. Intermediate departures are not the same as the route’s starting time.
- Plan your return. Check the last usable service before leaving home.
- Leave a connection margin. Scheduled times do not guarantee an onward connection.

Is there a bus from Sotogrande to La Línea?
The M-240 serves nearby stops including Guadiaro and Torreguadiaro. Select the stop that actually suits your location; the timetable does not mean every part of Sotogrande is within an easy walk.
Are these real-time arrival times?
No. These are the official published scheduled times checked on the date shown. Delays, diversions and later timetable changes are possible.
Does L-D include Sundays and public holidays?
The Consorcio defines L-D as daily, including holidays, for the displayed journeys. Check for service-specific notices affecting your travel date.
Why are two different San Roque stops shown?
The official timetable uses Cuatro Vientos towards La Línea and Alameda on the return. Use the direction-specific stop information.
Can I board at another stop on the route?
Check the official itinerary and stop information. A selected timepoint table does not list every boarding location or its exact passing time.
Does this bus cross into Gibraltar?
No Gibraltar destination is shown in this local table; it ends at La Línea station. Arrange the onward part and check entry requirements through official channels.
Can I travel directly from Málaga Airport to Sotogrande?
Search the operator’s system for your date and destination. The verified airport route linked here reaches Estepona; this page does not promise a direct Sotogrande service.
How much is a ticket?
Consult the current fare for the route, journey and payment method. Old flat fares should not be assumed to apply to today’s service.
Can I pay by bank card?
Ask the operator about the specific service. Payment methods and travel-card acceptance should not be assumed to be identical on local and long-distance buses.
Can I take luggage, a pushchair or a wheelchair?
Confirm arrangements with the operator before travel, particularly if you need assistance, a guaranteed space or access to a specific vehicle.
Is the last departure suitable for an evening out?
Check the actual return timetable and allow time to reach the stop. Arrange a taxi or another plan if the event ends later.
Can I use the bus to reach a villa in Sotogrande Alto?
Check the full pedestrian approach from the stop. Do not assume a roadside stop provides a practical walk to a villa, especially with bags or after dark.
What should I do if the official site is unavailable?
Call the Consorcio or the operator before making a time-critical journey. This stored table should not be your only confirmation for an airport connection.
