Using the guide

We work to keep the guide useful and accurate. Opening hours, menus, prices, availability and event arrangements can change, so check important details with the business or organiser before visiting or booking. Older articles and dated reviews describe the circumstances at the time they were published.

A directory listing does not mean that we own, operate or guarantee the services of that business. Bookings and purchases made with a venue or an external booking platform are subject to that provider’s terms.

Reviews and community contributions

Reviews should describe a genuine personal experience. Please distinguish opinion from fact, disclose any connection to the business, and avoid abusive language, private personal information, misleading claims or material you do not have permission to share.

We may moderate, decline or remove contributions that breach these guidelines. We preserve reviewers’ words, ratings and dates; corrections can be requested through our contact form. A negative opinion alone is not a reason for removal. Contact us with the page address and an explanation if you believe a review is inaccurate, infringes your rights or contains personal information that should not be public.

Submitting photographs and articles

You retain ownership of material you create. When you submit material specifically for publication, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions, including permission for identifiable people where required.

For new submissions made under these terms, you give us non-exclusive permission to publish the accepted material in Sotogrande Guide and promote that feature through our associated channels. This includes reasonable cropping, formatting and editing that preserves the substance of your contribution. Separate commercial uses require a separate agreement. Submission does not guarantee publication or payment; any paid commission should be agreed in advance.
